It comes as no surprise that Anders Cohen is famous in the field of neurosurgery. By specializing in advanced and less invasive spinal surgery methods, Dr. Cohen has truly established his name in his field.

As opposed to the largely invasive surgical techniques of the past, which often involved making large incisions in certain areas in the back and/or the abdomen, Dr. Anders Cohen’s techniques are much less invasive, risky and expensive, and recovery is usually extremely fast.

In addition, he is known for noteworthy bedside demeanor, and many of his patients remark that he shows genuine concern for their well-being.

Dr. Anders Cohen is an alumnus of the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and a former Chief Resident at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Presently, he heads the Neurosurgery Unit of the Brooklyn Hospital Center, and teaches at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
